To provide secured pages on your intranet, you need to


1. Create Folders for the content
2. Restrict Access to the folders
3. Put the content in the new folders/subfolders

This must be done by your Web Site administrator using the "Home Page Page Uploader" tool.

Examples:

To create an area for teachers and students
- Create a folder called "students"
- Secure the folder - Restrict Access: "Any authenticated user"
- modify the links on the home page

To create a folder for Teachers only
- Create a folder called "teachers"
- Secure the folder - Restrict Access: "Specific Group" > "teaching"
(Note that the Group/Class field is case-sensitive)
- modify the links on the home page
