Absences/Attendance

It is crucial that you let us know, in advance, if your child is not going to be at school, this is a Health & Safety measure for both you, your child and the school. 

There are multiple ways you can contact us to let know that your child will be away.

• Text: 027 819 3283 and let us know

• Email: office@arakura.school.nz

When you leave a message or text, please let us know; your child’s name, room number and reason for absence.

If we don’t receive something from you to say why your child is away, you will get a text, you can reply to this text for free - as long as you have data.
