Arakura Autism Network

Understanding Autism and neuro diversity in general is important to us as a school community.  As well as regular professional learning and development for staff we are forming partnerships with health and social services to bring the expertise, support, and information to our parents and whānau.  Our Autism Network offers:

• A safe space and network for parents and whānau

• Access to agencies and experts in Autism

• Access to parent workshops run from Arakura School

• Opportunities to learn about the various supports and funding available

• Support to engage and participate in the community, accessing invaluable community resources
